I was raised on a farm in Pike Road, AL and learned to work hard at a very young age. I attended Auburn University and graduated with a degree in Agriculture Economics. While in college, I worked for Brassfield and Gorrie and learned a great deal about general construction. After college, I returned to Pike Road and became very interested in fencing. I spent countless hours at the library further educating myself, and then began constructing fences and decks for friends and family members. The quality of my work was very well received, and I soon realized there was a need for a fence company that offered high quality work at fair prices, in a timely manner. I then formed my own business, Swearingen Fence and Deck, and we have been going strong ever since.

Swearingen Fence and Deck, with over 40 years experience, is based on honesty, hard work, and attention to detail. Each job is considered a personal project and we take pride in each. Quality work is our goal and your satisfaction is our guarantee. We are licensed and bonded and are members of various organizations such as the Montgomery Home Builders Association and the Better Business Bureau. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a wonderful wife and two awesome children. My wife is a teacher, and my children attend school. As a family, we enjoy spending time at Lake Martin, as well as hunting and other outdoor activities.
